Joyce Kamande’s personal experience dealing with the effects of soil degradation and resulting food insecurity has fueled her enthusiasm and passion to empower rural smallholder farmers through sustainable agricultural practices.
As Chief Operations Officer, Joyce knows the “start-up” culture of Safi Organics encourages team members to take risks and be creative and innovative. Being part of the Safi team has expanded her knowledge of circular economies and systemic solutions to climate change. Joyce has big dreams for Safi’s future “I envision the establishment of many more Safi Organics production facilities in Kenya,
providing 200,000+ farmers with organic fertilizers.”
